The Basque Circular Economy Strategy 2030 aims to enhance the competitiveness of Basque companies, creating specialist jobs and reducing CO2 emissions.

This week, the Basque Government approved the Basque Circular Economy Strategy 2030, a development plan for the Basque economy and Basque society which aims to turn the Basque Country into a benchmark for the circular economy in Europe. With our sights firmly set on 2030, the aim is to foster the transition towards a circular economy model in the Basque Country, a move which will bring a series of key benefits, including increasing company turnover for circular products to 10 billion euros, creating 3,000 new jobs and reducing CO2 emissions linked to consumption by 26%.
